Book blog:The Hangman Revolution

The Hangman Revolution is a fictional book. It was made by Eoin Colfer. This part is the second part of the series. This book is 376. An interesting quote was " Time travels creates chaos, and chaos doesn't follow your rules. That's why it's called chaos" and this quote is intersecting on how small things can cause a big difference. This book takes place in London.

Summary: This book is a made up one. It starts with the main character Cherie becoming an agent for a organization. This organization is kinda like a cult, and she doesn't want to be apart it. She try's to fight against it. She Later meets a guy from the future, and they both want to stop the cult. Their priority was to go back in time and stop the cult from starting.

Spring Break

This blog is a bit too late, but better late then never. My spring break was a normal one for the most part. I was excited for it. All day in school I was anxious to leave. I was looking at the clock just waiting for the magic numbers 3:17. Each class seamed longer then usual. Then I say the time and I ran. I got my things and left and didn't look back.

The first day of my break was fun. I went to a national park, had a cook out there, and then went to hotel and swam in the pool. Then half of the week I slept and relaxed and it felt good. Then Thursday and Friday I had party's and bonfires. Then the last two days of my break I tried to enjoy them but was nervous and furious to acknowledge the fact that school was right around the corner. Then I was back in school that Monday.

Life is beautiful review

We read a lot about the holocaust. We read how some areas near and in Germany didn't allow Jews in their shop. The movie gave me an example of it. The dad (main character) was walking with his son and his son wanted a pastry, well the dad saw a sign that said no Jews and tried to make an excuse to his son.(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qqeLy4vseoA) This comes to shows how in the our reading a lot of Jews were oppressed and this movie kinda shows how people get affected like this. Also we read of kids, the sick, or the elder were gassed but covered up as a shower. In the movie this also happens and it something you need to watch to understand(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=v2sqjebFODg).

There was many mood changes. In the movie the mood changes a lot. In the movie everything was wonderful at first and no one thought anything of it like in real life(scenes from the movie to understand -https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=o4E-yb-1_FA and https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h7CBrN19OY4) Later on in the movie the movie changes mood when their house gets scavenge for the main character since he was Jew and was put on the train(https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KaUEDYWofJQ) Th turn events kinda gets to you because it shows how life was wonderful and no expected anything, but all the sudden the Nazi came and deystroyed there life. It was all of the sudden too in the movie which comes to show how easily the mood changed.

Life is shown beautiful in many ways in this movie. It was shown through the good and bad things. For example in one scene the main character is trying to make his son happy and not scared, so a German comes in to explain rules and needs someone to explain, the character volunteers and even though he doesn't no the language he repeats the guy to make it seem like a game for his little son. This scene shows how life is beautiful even in bad times if you try to make it beautiful or has something worth making it beautiful.  "https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9lTSqc1UnLU" video link.

The Nazi book is a great book. This book is a narrative nonfiction .The author is Neal Bascomb. The book The Nazi Hunters is a book that takes place in towards the end of world war 2. This book is 245 pages long. This book gives us a perspective on how people fought for what they thought was right.

This book is retelling a story of a world war 2 assaination attemp. This book follows these people who are spies. The book goes into great description explaining how they found and captured the head of operation for the final solution Adolf Eichmann and bring him to justice. This books has some visuals to show you how it looked and felt. All in all this book is a great book and it fits in to the unit I'm in now about the holocaust

Carve the Mark blog

Carve The Mark is a fascinating book that is in a different galaxy. The author is Veronica Roth and she wrote many amazing books. One book you might notice from her is the divergent series. So coming back to carve the mark, this book is 468 pages and the genre is young adult fiction and scientific fiction.

This book takes place in a different galaxy. There is something called a current take gives people power. Most planets are peaceful but one planet partially own by the shotet people and they want more power. This book is on a perspective of the kings daughter and the kid from a different planet with unique powers. This book has a lot of plot twist and enough action to pull you in and give you a great imagery on how the story and people looks. I highly recommend this book to people who are look for something entertaining.

Regret

People regret many things. People regret life decisions or regret not doing something. Regret is a painful thing. Everybody regrets something in their life for many things. I myself regret many things too.

I regret many things. There is one thing that overshadows the rest. My grandma was dying.  She was very sick. She lived in this little village in Mexico. My family and I were talking about how we should go see her. We planned to go and see her. The thing is there was tickets to leave really early in the morning but miss a party or wait and then go. Me and my sisters convinced after the party. We stayed but the day of the party we were told that my grandma was almost gone so we tried to get there but we were too slow. We stayed there for the funereal. I never felt the same pain as seeing my parent cry. I regretted going to the party. I still do and I felt kinda vulnerable .This is something that is going to stick with me for a long time.
